  1. A ticket

This year EDC early owl GA tickets sold out in one hour. It’s obvious that this is going to be one of the biggest events of the year and people don’t want to miss it. The early owl tickets sold for a total of $377.39, this price isn’t that different from the regular GA ticket that costs $398.04. So there’s not a huge downfall if you couldn’t snatch a ticket in that first hour. However, don’t rely on getting the regular GA tickets up until the last day because there is a chance they will sell out as well. The cost of not getting one of those tickets would be an extra $32. All and all go buy a ticket as soon as you can and have some pity on your savings account.

  1. A place to stay

There’s always people that are late to the game and end up frantically searching for a hotel room. Usually they end up miles away in a small motel, or paying twenty times more then they should. So once you’ve bought your ticket for EDC make sure you get your hotel room right away. If you’re smart about making bookings you most likely use an outside source to get you the best deals. Till Dawn is always a good source for finding the best deals and they can land you a room at Treasure Island, Monte Carlo, Flamingo, Palm’s Place and Venetian this year.

  1. Transportation

Everyone knows that waiting for an Uber at a large event is less pleasant then getting thrown into a tank with sharks. Don’t torture yourself and sit on a curb for three hours until a ride becomes available, make sure that you have transportation to and from the music festival before you even get to Vegas. Use Till Dawn to get great deals because let’s face it, leaving a music festival and having a ride waiting for you is the closest you will ever feel to being a celebrity.

  1. Water/money for food

High temperatures and lots of dancing lead to people fainting. So the fourth most important thing to bring is the proper nourishment. Although you can’t bring in filled water bottles you are allowed to bring in empty ones. We suggest that you bring at least a 32 oz. water bottle that you can fill up inside the music festival. As far as food goes you can’t bring in any, however, there are plenty of vendors inside that you can fill up on. The only issue is that they cost a lot of money. So bring a lot of cash and be strategic about your food choices, the more carbs the better!

  1. Proper attire

It doesn’t matter if you’re a male or female, having the prober rave attire makes a direct impact of your music festival experience. The most important piece of clothing is your shoes. There is an extreme amount of walking and dancing at EDC so you don’t want to be the person that accidentally shows up in flip flops or sandals. The best option is running shoes with maximum support. A second necessity is kandi, having copious amounts of kandi is the best way to bond with strangers and connect with other people. Lastly, if you want to take your attire to the next level wear LED gloves. You will be the center of attention for all of the people that don’t have their own pair of LED gloves. But most importantly, they are really fun.
